Creative Family developed a Learner Management System (LMS) for Richmond Fellowship New Zealand. This is a web based package that is designed to complement their staff training in their nationwide sites. The package has been incorporated into their professional development programme as part of their auditing processes.
An online package tracks the learners and enables management to see that the staff are participating in the training and are achieving the results required.
Learners log into this programme with a username and password. As a learner, they can start and complete training modules, view and report on their own performance.
Administrators or managers can view and report on learners' performance, progress by group, location or as an individual.
Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation
Three web based learning modules for Plastics and Materials Processing Industry Training Organisation (PaMPITO) on plastics materials.
PaMPITO needed online learning tools that acted as a self paced learning resource for trainees, and the budget was very limited.
The first of these was a static browser based eLearning tool.
For PaMPITO this approach provided a cost-effective format for facilitating the learning of theoretical information in an easily accessible way.
It also provided an ideal context for presenting a visually rich description of processes and scientific concepts.
Facility for a range of audio and video clips was also created as these are the optimum means of explaining some of the key concepts.
