Hugh DerhamHugh has an extensive background in education as a teacher in the secondary and tertiary sectors. He also co-founded the private training establishment Natcoll Design Technology, for whom he designed and wrote the original curriculum. Hugh has worked for NZQA as the National Moderator of Computing Levels 1-4. He has been responsible for the PrintNZ digital print apprenticeship programme where he has written the learning content and overseen the management of the trainees in the digital programme. Hugh has also lived and taught in Kenya and has a strong appreciation of other cultures. Claire DerhamClaire has fourteen years experience as a primary school teacher, and has worked in schools of varying deciles and in both mainstream and bi-lingual settings. She has also been a recipient of an eFellowship scholarship, has worked as the senior resource producer for an industry training organisation and has been involved in eLearning research through Massey University. This research has been undertaken with providers and trainees in the health, disability and community setting currently participating in the Level 2 and Level 3 national qualifications in foundation skills and core competencies. She also holds the management contract for PrintNZ Training embedded literacy and numeracy project. Roydon GibbsRoydon is a learning designer and resource writer for Creative Family. Roydon has a diverse range of experience, which includes graphic design, vocational training, learning design and facilitation. He has academic qualifications in adult teaching and learning as well as graphic design. His expertise lies in the areas of verbal and visual communication, adult learning, and presentation. Prior to this he held a number of supervisory and managerial positions within the hospitality industry. Rebecca OrrRebecca is a resource writer for Creative Family. She is a trained primary school teacher with a background in tutoring adults with literacy and numeracy issues. Rebecca has worked for Adult Reading Assistance Scheme and Hagley Adult Learning Centre. Rebecca has worked as a Case Manager for Work and Income New Zealand working with clients to build productive relationships to address employment and education issues. She also ran the trial programme 'Work Action' that was designed to teach life and employment skills to the long term unemployed. Education teamThe Creative Family education and writing team is composed of people with both practical and theoretical education experience and expertise. Our writing team has designed and developed training packages at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels. Design teamThe Creative Family design team is incredibly versatile. We specialise in creating: resource materials, corporate identities, advertising materials, website design, presentations and customised illustrations. Our team bring together skills and experience from a range of different backgrounds to find new and creative ways to meet your design requirements. Web teamOur web team work closely with the design team to produce effective and eye-catching websites. An important part of our role is that we stay current with latest industry trends and solutions. We are constantly building on our portfolio including: hosting, eCommerce, galleries, content management systems (CMS), search engine optimisation (SEO) and web marketing to ensure that your website stands out from the crowd. Our web team also specialise in developing customised online eLearning packages. |
